Standard turn time for up to 100 books is five business days after Authorization to Print is received, depending on the current workload. However, if circumstances require faster delivery, we can accommodate.  Please email your representative or mention delivery requirements at time of cost estimate if you require quicker turnaround.  Please consider shipping time as well, as this is not included in turn-around time. Picking up from our facility can also be arranged. For more information, please check the Terms & Conditions.

Although we can bind your book in almost any custom size, we recommend these common sizes for best pricing. (in Inches)

Book Binding may be:

Plasticoil (Spiral Bound),

Perfect bound (Paperback Soft Cover).

We can use a variety of cover stocks for Paperbacks and other books.  We stock 10-point (120#) or 12-point (140#) weight Cover Stock with Gloss UV coating (Laminated covers for an added charge). We can also use 14 pt, however it is not recommended for thinner books.

Our standard practice for book printing is 50% down to start the project, and the balance plus any shipping & taxes is due before shipment/ pickup. We accept all major credit cards, money orders, cashiers checks and personal checks. Note: personal checks must clear before shipment.

High Resolution PDF is preferred, however we can accept most Adobe products files, and Microsoft Office files, DOC, DOCX, IDML, PSD, EPS, AI, SVG, JPG, PNG and more.

If you have something different, please ask and we will try to accommodate.  Keep in mind, for certain file types, they may have to be exported into an older version of the application.

We can use your native application files as long as we have the supporting files (fonts, high res graphics, Etc.). Before you start your setup of your book we recommend speaking to one of our prepress members in regards to how we need to receive your manuscript and cover.

Although we generally do not normally charge for technical questions, any work performed at customer’s request will be charged at our current rates.

We do offer Book Cover Design services, and Interior Formatting Services for your convenience. Please take advantage, as our rates are quite competitive.

It is not absolutely necessary to copyright your work since your manuscript is automatically copyrighted when it is written or “born.”

The copyright laws were changed in 1978 to protect an author’s work for up to 50 years after the author’s death. However, there are some significant benefits to officially copyrighting your work with the Copyright Office.

You may register your work prior to publication or after publication. Form TX is used for the majority of publications and may be obtained (with instructions) from the Library of Congress Copyright Office.  The online portal is available as well. For more information:

ISBN stands for International Standard Book Number.

This is a thirteen-digit number that identifies the title, edition, binding type and publisher of a specific work. Most bookstores need this symbol for cataloging and sales tracking. The barcode on the back of any book contains the ISBN of that specific title in a machine-readable format. You can purchase an ISBN from Digital Publishing of Florida, or you can buy one from R.R. Bowker at this link

25 Books is our minimum order at this time.  Other products vary.

Yes, we can scan from a copy or an existing book, as long as you are the author of the work. There is an additional charge. Please note that in order to scan from an existing book we must cut the pages from the book.

We ship via Fed-Ex ground. All shipping charges are billed at cost. Turnaround time does not include shipping transit time. You are welcome to pick up at our facility as well.

Shipping to Florida is most often the next business day.  Normally, shipping to the Southeast US is 1-3 business days, the Northeast US is 2-3 business days, and the Central US is 2-4 business days.  Shipping to the West Coast is usually 4-5 business days.
